Monteith Brown Planning Consultants to conduct background review, determine community profile & trends, and conduct a planning workshop with Council and the Township Management Team.

Monteith Brown Planning Consultants (MBPC) will be conducting two separate 90-minute planning workshops with Council and the Township Management Team for the Strategic Plan and the Recreation Services Plan. This will include a visioning exercise with Council and Staff focused on issues, opportunities and potential priorities for the next 5 to 10 years.

Township Staff are requested to identify and invite participants along with providing a brief overview/presentation to set the context for the 2024 Strategic Plan and the Recreation Services Plan, highlight key successes, etc.

Community and Township staff feedback to be gathered through an online survey, open house and meetings with user groups and committees.

Join the Public Open House and provide your feedback on what the priorities should be for our area over the next 5 years. Drop in on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 between 5:00-7:00pm to Council Chamber in the lower level of the Municipal Office (1310 Centre Line, Selwyn).

Presentation of draft Strategic Plan & Recreation/Trails Plan to Council at Regular Meeting.

Community members are invited to a Public Open House to review the draft Strategic Plan & Recreation Services Plan. The draft Plans will also be available online for the community to provide comments.
